Corporate Employee Health & Fitness

Every company wants to have their workforce fit and well as it means that not only are they happy and productive, but it also costs less in terms of sick leave and related problems. This is where the services below can help with this as well as motivate your staff to do more.

All equipment is supplied.

Services

The services I provide are:

Health Checks

The following checks are carried out: blood pressure, weight, BMI (Body Mass Index) and peak flow (measures lung function). All results are compared to official normative data and individual advice is given to the client. If required, a generic report can be prepared on the health of the workforce sampled (no individual names mentioned).

Requirements: Room with two chairs and one table. Pre-booking is desirable but not essential.

Confidentail report available upon request.

Back Care Course

This eight week course (1 hour per week) is aimed at improving flexibility, posture and core strength to help those who suffer with back pain. It includes assessments at the start and finish as well as homework and some materials. Equipment used includes Yoga Mats, Stability Balls and Dyno Bands. Groups are limited to a maximum of 12 people. and a report can be compiled if desired (no individual names mentioned).

Requirements: Empty medium-large room.

Confidential report available upon request.

Fitness Camps

A six week outdoor/indoor course to improve fitness and aid weight loss. Comprising a minimum of eight and maximum of 20 people, fitness camps cater for all abilities and fitness levels and all equipment is supplied. Consisting of two one-hour sessions per week, fitness camps can be run at a time to suit you.

Requirements: Indoor or outdoor space.

Circuit Training Group Classes

An excellent way to improve whole body fitness and a great way to aid weight loss. Working at your own pace, circuit training is a series of exercises for a set time period with a rest between each one. The size of the class will depend upon the size of room available. It can be done as a taster session first before setting up regular sessions. It can be run at a time to suit you and all equipment is provided.

Requirements: Large empty room available at the same time every week.

Home Based Workouts

A programme design for busy people who can't afford the time or money to get to a gym which involves cheap or no equipment. These can be tailored for the individual circumstances and goals. The group will consist of a minimum of three people, and maximum of 15.

Requirements: Medium-large room for one hour.

Introducing Stability Balls

Ever wanted to know how much you can do with one but were afraid to ask? In this class I show you how to use ia stability ball correctly and safely with just yourself and the ball. Class numbers will depend on room size.

Requirements: Large empty room for one hour.

Advanced Stability Balls

Ever wanted to know how what equipment you can use with a stability ball? In this class I show you what equipment you can use (including dumbbells and dyno bands) and how to use it correctly and safely with the ball. Class numbers will depend on room size.

Requirements: Large empty room for one hour.

Kettlercise Group Classes

An excellent way to improve whole body fitness and a great way to aid weight loss. Working at your own pace, kettlercise is a choreographed series of exercises for a set time period using kettlebells. The kettlebells vary in weight so that all ages and abilities can be catered for. The size of the class will depend upon the size of room available. It can be done as a taster session first before setting up regular sessions. It can be run at a time to suit you and all equipment is provided.

Requirements: Large empty room available at the same time every week.
